Nago is a small medieval village, rich in history and atmosphere, framed by terraced olive groves and fine vineyards, overlooking Lake Garda at 220 meters above sea level, immersed in the most beautiful mountains of the Monte Baldo Natural Park.

Immersed in Mediterranean vegetation just 2 km from the beaches of Torbole, Nago offers some of the most beautiful views of all the Garda Lake.
An oasis of calm and relaxation for those who love nature, an authentic corner of nature, rich in history and tradition, clearly recognizable by the ruins of Castel Penede with its breathtaking view and by the many details of medieval architecture in the squares of of the city and in the ancient churches of San Vigilio and Santissima Trinità.

Absolutely not to be missed is a walk along the ancient Roman road Valletta di Santa Lucia, a panoramic passage that descends between ancient dry stone walls planted with centuries-old olive trees, corners with wild vegetation and spontaneous flowers, fig and pomegranate plants up to the shores of the lake .

Since always a border area between Central European and Mediterranean cultures, the city center surprises with architectural references from past and present, such as the elegant portals and mullioned windows or the churches in the squares with small fountains of the past and the outer walls of the houses decorated with large murals representing the handicrafts of the recent past, mostly made by local artists. Strolling through the streets you can admire an old cobbler, the grape harvest, the beating of wheat on the threshing floor, tobacco processing, the shepherd with his flock and other pleasant, almost forgotten scenes.

For active vacationers who are on foot or by bike, there are countless paths or mountain bike trails. For those who love the thrill of climbing the cliffs overlooking the lake, this is a unique place in the world. For many who, on the other hand, love to rest and share a rejuvenating experience, they will find a corner of paradise here.

  • The Tonelli family in the Santa Lucia farm

This is exactly where our family has its origins, it started its activity here in 1960 with the construction of the Hotel Nago, today's Hotel Continental.
For many years, alongside Tonelli Hotels, we have cultivated a great passion for the products that this exceptional land gives us through the Santa Lucia family business. In particular, we are talking about the northernmost extra virgin olive oil in the world.

A slightly spicy oil with very low acidity, a precious asset that has always accompanied the culinary tradition of the Alto Garda Trentino, poor but at the same time rich in genuine and seasonal flavors.
A green gold yet to be discovered, just like the authentic origins of Nago.

See you soon, family Tonelli.
